freepops software package provides POP3 interface to several webmail sites, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freepops
freepops is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freepops package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freepops *
You will get with freepops package name, version, architecture and description in a table
